About me
Lisa Allen is the Director of Student Supports with over 35 years of experience in education focused on removing barriers to student success and strengthening whole-child systems of care. In her role, she provides district-level leadership across social-emotional learning, behavioral interventions, trauma-informed educational practices, attendance teams, CPI training, student discipline, counseling services, threat assessment and risk of harm, bullying prevention, gender support, home and hospital services, restorative practices, community partnerships, and community schools.Lisa oversees multidisciplinary staff across Student Support departments and is known for building integrated systems that promote student well-being, safety, and engagement. In addition to her district leadership, she teaches trauma-informed education courses at North Central College, supporting the preparation of future educators and school leaders.Outside of her professional work, Lisa is married and the proud parent of three children and a dog, and remains deeply committed to creating supportive environments where all students can thrive.
