About me
Ann received her bachelor’s degree in elementary education from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, a master’s degree in educational leadership from Eastern Illinois University, and has her Learning and Behavior Specialist I certification. Ann fulfilled many roles in the school setting, including classroom teacher, building administrator, district curriculum coordinator, and district PBIS external coach. Additionally, she worked on a state-level grant for twelve years, helping educators install behavior supports within an MTSS framework.As the Project Administrator for the Center for Intensive Behavioral Supports (CIBS), Ann helps coordinate statewide efforts to strengthen educator capacity to implement proactive and preventative behavioral support systems. She brings extensive experience in educational leadership and systems-level coaching, ensuring that the project’s training, resources, and technical assistance align with school and state priorities. Her work centers on building educator confidence and competence in using positive, data-informed practices that reduce reliance on reactive or exclusionary responses. She helps CIBS remain a trusted resource for educators seeking practical, research-aligned strategies to improve student behavior and strengthen school climate.
