ISBE School Wellness Conference

Aryan (Ary) Bansal is a Senior at D86 Hinsdale Central High School in Hinsdale, IL. He has participated in youth sports (both club and school-based) for basketball and tennis and is a recent pickleball fanatic too! As a graduating senior, he will be going on to attend a university this fall, continuing his studies in the exploration of business and science. Ary is a two-sport athlete, member of Math Team, dedicated National Honor Society student, ten year volunteer at The Birches assisted living, and in Dec 2023, launched P.A.S.S. (Peer Athlete Student Scholars), a grassroots program that seeks to lift and empower young athletes and students at large to maintain both academic and athletic excellence, while staying positive about student balance. P.A.S.S. bridges the school-to-home connection and strengthens support for all students to juggle practice schedules, pressures from coursework, activities, coaches, teachers, and other responsibilities. Being a healthy teen in today's school climate can be challenging and feeling overwhelmed is common for students.  High school students face tremendous pressure to excel and compete both in and out of the classroom. The P.A.S.S. program seeks to support students through mentorship, peer-to-peer tutoring, positivity and teamwork. Personally, Ary is the oldest of 3 boys and enjoys working out, watching football, and is looking forward to college!
