About me
Eric A. Carlton, President of Banner Learning Corp., has 34 years of educational experience, primarily in administration, business operations, and continuous school improvement. In the public sector, he served as a special education teacher (3 years), an assistant/associate principal (4 years), and a principal (4 years) at a large public high school in Baltimore. Eric served as a regional vice president of a national educational services company until he began his own company in 2003 (Banner Learning Corp.), which runs alternative and therapeutic day programs in Illinois and Milwaukee. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in African Studies from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County; a Master of Science in Special Education from Johns Hopkins University; and an Education Specialist degree from Walden University. Eric is certified in Administration, Special Education, and Instructional Leadership. His greatest passion is leading healing and restorative circles for schools, districts, social service providers, and corporate leadership teams.
