About me
Dena Hasselberg is a school psychologist with over 24 years of experience in student services and systems leadership. She currently serves as the Student Services Coordinator for Valley View School District, where she leads initiatives in general education, special education, Section 504, threat assessment, restorative practices, SEL and professional development.Dena is known for creating practical, data-driven systems that strengthen compliance, collaboration, and student outcomes while recruiting and mentoring student services staff and multidisciplinary teams across the district.Outside of her professional work, Dena is married and the proud parent of five children and five dogs — a role that continues to shape her passion for advocacy, balance, and whole-child support.
