About me
Born in the Chicago suburb of Oak Park, Mr. Bink grew up in the Chicagoland area attending Lyons Township High School. He then moved to Southern Illinois where he attended SIU and graduated in 2001. He has two masters degrees: one in Educational Theory from Lewis University, and one in Educational Administration from McKendree University. He has been in the educational field for the past 24 years; the last 20 of those being at ROE #21. He has taught 6th-8th grade, been a lead teacher, assistant principal, and is currently the Truancy Coordinator and Director of Health Life Safety for the ROE. He leads the team of truancy interventionalists in four Southern Illinois counties which serves 57 school buildings. In the Health Life Safety role, he works with local school administrators on school safety and new school construction projects. In his free time, Mr. Bink enjoys spending time with his wife Sally and daughter Ellie. He likes to travel with his family, cook, play golf, play video games, and attend college football games (Go Irish) at multiple universities all across the US.
