With over 15 years of experience as a teacher, principal, and district leader in Chicago, Jen has built a reputation for turning vision into results—elevating school culture, empowering educators, and driving dramatic gains in student success. Her leadership has helped schools achieve top-tier college enrollment and persistence rates, while boosting on-track metrics across all grades.
Beyond direct work in schools, Jen has shaped state education policy at the highest levels, serving as Executive Director of Teaching and Learning at the Illinois State Board of Education and as Policy Director at Advance Illinois. Her work reflects a deep commitment to educational justice and a belief that every student deserves the opportunity to thrive.
