About me
Hi! I have been the Director of SOS Programming at Elyssa's Mission for the past 15 years. Prior to that, I worked in several Illinois elementary and middle schools as both a school social worker and assistant principal. In my current role, I coordinate SOS programming for our 350+ school partners. I further support schools with the implementation of the evidence-based SOS Signs of Suicide program, including planning, training, teaching, and follow-up. I love that we are able to fully fund this critical program for our school partners. SOS entails both education and screening--and both are essential to help prevent teen suicide.
