About me
Ms. Kathleen Meeks is a veteran social studies teacher and community organizer dedicated to moving beyond traditional reform toward deep systemic repair and renewal. Drawing on her 15 years of experience in public schools and two Master’s degrees in Culture and Society and Teaching English Learners, she bridges the gap between institutional leadership and social justice frameworks. Kathleen has cultivated a unique expertise in facilitating antiracism education, restorative practices, and affinity spaces across diverse settings. Currently, she is focused on integrating restorative practices at the classroom level and advancing leadership for social change through consensus-building.
